Honestly? I’m not the biggest fan of Colourmusic’s songs. But I could listen to this one on repeat for days. I have been, actually.

Easy Lover in the latest issue of Storychord
The awesome Storychord (which “features one story, one image, and a one-song “soundtrack” — each by underexposed talent” each issue) featured Easy Lover’s “End of the Season” in their latest! Please check it out here!
Marnie Stern is very, very funny and totally endearing. Every interview should be this worth watching.

I’m always wary of new bands — even new bands I like — covering old classics (why fuck with perfection?), so when I saw this I got a little wary. But it’s actually really pretty and totally tasteful and pleasant.

Zodiacs are a band of indie rock luminaries: Dum Dum Girls front lady Dee Dee sings; Blank Dogs Mike Sniper plays bass; JB Townsend of Crystal Stilts plays guitar; and Jeremy Earl and Jarvis Taveniere of Woods serve, respectively, as drummer and guitarist.
You can stream the new single, “Faraway Friend,” from Pitchfork, here.
The White Stripes Broke Up
It’s only half surprising. Anyway, even the NYTimes blog is writing about it, here.

Glee is doing a mash up of YYYs and MJ...
and it is every bit as horrible and misguided as it sounds.
You can stream it here. It’s very, very bad.
I almost forgot that this weekend's SNL...
is all about Jesse Eisenberg and Nicki Minaj.
Then I remembered and got VERY excited.
FINALLY, there’s a video for “Ring, Ring.” (I know they renamed it “Rill, Rill” on the album but I thought the single was the better version. And I’m sticking to it.)
